Matthew Addison
Founder | Construction Law & Commercial Litigation
Matt Addison is a veteran Nevada commercial litigator with more than three decades of experience representing clients in complex construction and business disputes.
Throughout his career, he has represented participants at every level of the construction process — including owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and major suppliers.
His litigation experience includes:
• Construction project disputes
• Commercial contract litigation
• Multi-party complex litigation
• Arbitration and appellate advocacy
He has argued before the Nevada Supreme Court and handled substantial matters before judges, juries, and arbitration panels. As well, Matt has been increasingly engaged as a private mediator and arbitrator in construction and litigation matters by colleagues in both Nevada and Northern California, and he enjoys serving in those roles.
Leadership & Judicial Service
Matt has served as:
• Administrative Law Judge, Nevada State Contractors’ Board
• Judge Pro Tem, Reno Municipal Court
• Settlement Judge Pro Tem, El Dorado County Superior Court
He previously spent more than 30 years at one of Nevada’s original law firms, serving as Managing Partner of its Reno office for eight years before founding Addison Law Group PLLC.

Matt holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has received multiple “Lawyer of the Year” honors from The Best Lawyers in America in Construction Law and Construction Litigation.
